Oscar Wegner

World-renowned player, coach, author and educator Oscar Wegner is widely acclaimed for his critical impact and outstanding contributions to the sport of tennis.  Over the past 40 years Oscar has played an instrumental role in educating and inspiring thousands of tennis coaches and players at all levels.  He has played several roles in the world of tennis over the years; dubbed the "Father Of Modern Tennis",  creator of his own Modern Tennis Methodology also known worldwide as The Wegner Method, Founder and President of Oscar Wegner Enterprises, Inc. and Modern Tennis Methodology Coaches Association, and a major contributor to the advancement and popularity of tennis worldwide.

 Among Oscar's accomplishments:

Played on the International Tennis Circuit from 1963-67 with such legends as Roy Emerson, John Newcombe, Tony Roche, Manuel Santana, Marty Mulligan, Cliff Drysdale, Bob Hewitt, Fred Stolle  and practiced with the legendary Pancho Gonzales, Pancho Segura and Rod Laver.
